Privacy, in plain English.

This site is run by Petty Roommates, a small pet-goods shop based in Portland, Oregon. The shop isn't open yet. Right now the only thing we collect is the waitlist.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
• Whether you picked cat, dog or both, so we know who we're shopping for.
• The date you signed up and the country your connection came from (an approximate location from our host, Cloudflare). We don't store your IP address or street address with your sign-up.

What we do with it

• We email you when the shop opens, and send the occasional update from the roommates.
• We count cat, dog and both sign-ups to decide what to stock.
• We don't sell or rent your email address, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Where it's kept

The waitlist is stored in a Cloudflare database. When we start sending emails, we'll use an email service to send them and will update this page to name it.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set any cookies, and it doesn't run ad pixels or analytics trackers. Your browser remembers, for this visit only, that you've already seen the opening animation.

Getting off the list

Email pettyroommates@gmail.com and we'll delete your details. Every email we send will also have a way to unsubscribe.

Changes

When the shop opens we'll update this page to cover orders, payments and shipping. The date at the top will change when we do.
